2 Motor Ballast Tamper for Hydraulic Excavators
Dymax Ballast Tampers for hydraulic excavators are shaking their way to the top. Based upon proven technology, Dymax Ballast Tampers are ideal for spot maintenance where fouled ballast needs to be removed and new ballast tamped into position. Equipped with two (2) vibratory motors, the Dymax two motor tamper allows tie gangs to tamp ballast without the need for on-track equipment. Features hydraulic rotation and gives operators the ultimate flexibility when it comes to positioning. Diverter valve kits are optional. Features eight (8) Dymax AR400 hardfaced tamping tools. Dymax 2 motor tampers are available for all makes and models of excavators. Machines must have at least 16GPM of hydraulic flow. The standard duty 2 motor tamper is ideal for smaller machines such as backhoes and excavators up to 30,000lbs operating weight.
